My Father

I always want to do what is right

You know my desire

You know my heart

I pray for a future

With You

I see the mountain move

Before me

With the mustard seed

In my pocket

Blooms

You lie down in the grass

The sun's rays reach you

You are in the middle of the psalm

In God's summer meadow

You hear the sweet music

That is now played for you

You can sing along

In God's summery refrain

You rest there so comfortably

Feel the blades of grass

You send everything to heaven

God is there with you

You enjoy nature's

Scents and perfumes

Hear the wind gently play

You may live with me

Sprouts

Sitting against my tree

And enjoying the light

From the sun's warm rays

Makes me feel alive

Feeling the tree's bark

Feeling the blades of grass

Spring is in the air

My favorite pastime

Here I can hum

Write and ponder

Close my eyes, dream, sunbathe

Change my perspective

Sitting against my tree

Makes me marvel

The tree stands firm here

Yet is full of life
